Jesus was hated by a wide variety of people 2,000 years ago and that hatred drove nails through his hands and feet as he was fastened to the cross. He promised his followers that if they truly followed him they would be hated as well. But why? What is it about Jesus and His followers that some people find so objectionable? As His followers, are there right reasons to be hated and wrong reasons to be hated? What are they? And when we experience mistreatment or suffering because we are followers of Jesus what is the right response? Join us for the new sermon series, In the Face of Hatred, as we answer these questions and more.
