Worship And Arts Ministry

Preparing Hearts for the Word of God

Our style includes many creative ways to communicate God’s love and the unchanging truth of Scripture, including music, drama, video, and dance. We take God’s call to worship Him very seriously, incorporating a variety of expressive means because people respond differently to different styles. Each service is carefully and thoughtfully planned to prepare our hearts and open our minds to God’s Word from our pastors. None are staged to glorify the performer; instead, they are presented in ways that glorify God.

Please feel free to contact us with the form below for more information. This form goes directly to our staff and you should receive a response within a day. If you need to speak to a staff member directly, please view the staff listing.

Comments/Questions:

One Voice Choir

The Friendship choir, One Voice, sings on select Sundays every month alternating between campuses. Rehearsals are at 7:00pm on the second and third Wednesdays each month at the Prior Lake Campus. This is an excellent way to get to know some people of like mind through worship.

Friendship Vocal Team

This is an opportunity for people with the gift of vocal music to lead the congregation in worship at both services. Choir members may contact Pastor Mark to audition for vocal teams.

Sound, Lighting, And Media

All team members have the opportunity to learn the equipment necessary for the modern worship experience and the creative skills to make it effective.

Drama

Whether we are preparing hearts for the morning’s message or presenting our annual Christmas production, the drama team’s goal is to communicate the message of the gospel by means of Bible-based drama.

ASL Interpreted Service

10:45am, Sunday Morning Worship Service, Shakopee Campus

To enhance the worship experience of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, we offer an ALS interpreter at our 10:45am worship service at the Shakopee Campus.
