Care

Care

At times everyone needs support, encouragement and guidance to help them through life. Care Ministries exist to comfort and care for individuals with the healing power, truth and love of Jesus Christ.

We are compelled by the compassion that God has shown us and hope that we can be an instrument to help meet your needs through confidential appointments, group support, prayer and benevolence.

Acts of Friendship

Could you use help with painting, lawn care, repairs, etc.? We may be able to help. Please tell us about your project and someone will connect with you. Or, if you'd like to volunteer in this ministry, register below.

Marriage Mentoring

At Friendship Church we care about marriages. We strongly believe Christian marriages should thrive and we want to help. Whether you are looking for marriage preparation, enrichment or a complete overhaul, consider having marriage mentors. We have many mature and committed couples trained to facilitate a hands-on method of mediation, validation, and negotiation which will assist you and your spouse with learning how to solve your issues together in a very firm and loving way.

There is a $75 fee for a helpful online assessment and related resources. However, let us know if this would be an issue for you.

If you would like more information or are ready to enhance your marriage relationship, Pastor Art Hansen or call 952-447-0542.

Marriage Mentor Training

If you and your spouse are interested in learning about the marriage mentor training, Pastor Art Hansen or call 952-447-0542.

Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS)

Are you an engaged couple or know that you soon will be? Preparing for a strong and passionate marriage is one of the most important things you’ll ever do. More than a million couples have used the award-winning Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS for short) and through the SYMBIS Assessment we can help you prepare for lifelong love like never before.

If you have questions, Pastor Kenny White or call 952-447-0529.

GriefShare

If you have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt. That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special group facilitated by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.

GriefShare is offered twice a year:

  • Fall at the Shakopee Campus
  • Spring at the Prior Lake Campus

To learn more, please or call 952-447-0571.

Benevolence

On the first Sunday of the month, we take a special offering for Benevolence to help members of the congregation who are struggling. If you attend Friendship Church, and need assistance, or call 952-447-0542 to learn more.

Pastoral Care

If you need to talk to a pastor or would like to arrange a visit from a pastor, please or call 952-447-0542. After hours, please call the church office at 952-447-8282 for instructions on how to reach the pastor on call.
