The gospel of Mark declares Jesus to be the Son of God. In itβs first few chapters Jesus identity is revealed and it becomes clear that He is unlike anyone who has ever walked the earth, because He is God in human flesh. In Mark 5-8, Jesus puts His power on display as He establishes His authority over everything in the physical and spiritual realm. More than that, in these chapters, Jesus repeatedly teaches his disciples that through faith, they have access to this power to accomplish the works of the Kingdom of God.
