God is changing lives every week at Friendship Church. Behind each changed life is the service of many volunteers. Whether it’s greeting new guests, holding a baby, helping behind the scenes on a Sunday morning or anything in between, each role is vital to the body of Christ.

Friendship Church is excited to partner with Second Harvest to provide a free surplus grocery and household goods distribution on the Second Thursday of every month. We need nearly 100 volunteers to have this event run smoothly from the time the truck arrives until the trash is taken out at the end of the night. Each volunteer plays a super important role and we would love for you to join us. There are so many areas in which to help:
This is a wonderful opportunity to show Christ’s love and care to those in need. It is also a great chance for parents and students (age 12 and up) to serve together or for teens looking to perform community service.
Acts of Friendship is an on-going Serve Team. Volunteers will help with painting, lawn care, repairs, oil changes, haircuts, sewing, etc. as needs arise throughout the year. We will serve both our congregation and the community like Jesus.
As a volunteer you will be contacted via email as needs come up. If you are able to help, great! If not, that’s ok. Join us in helping others throughout the year.

Has God given you a heart for children? Help us provide a place that children enjoy. Where they can feel safe and have a sense of love and belonging. From the babies to our elementary school kids, we can help you find your perfect fit. And while you’re busy blessing children, you’ll receive amazing blessings in return. If you can’t commit to every Sunday, we have flexible options. Also, there are opportunities on Wednesday evenings during the school year.

At times everyone needs support, encouragement and guidance to help them through life. Care Ministries exist to comfort and care for individuals with the healing power, truth and love of Jesus Christ. There is are variety of ways to serve.
Could you spare an hour or two to spend time with those in need? Someone who is confined to home or a care facility would appreciate a visit from you.
It is Friendship's desire to care for our families that are experiencing an illness, surgery, birth or death. Would you like to make a meal and bring it to a family in need? As a need is brought to our attention, we would be in contact to see if the timing fits your schedule.
Greeters and ushers provide a warm welcome both at the door and prior to worship. They can also warmly interact with guests, guiding them to seats and Community Sections where they can meet people who share similar interests.
Do you have a welcoming presence and warm smile? Do you sincerely like to help people? This important role assists our guests that have questions about our church, and hands out a gift to our first-time visitors.
This team consists of two people. One person comes early before the first service and sets the tables with supplies in the Worship Center. One person stays after the second service to put everything away.
Help Baptism Sundays run smoothly as we celebrate with those who are publicly professing their faith in Jesus as their Savior.

This team works together to ensure every person gets their questions answered and the help they need taking their next steps at Friendship Church.
We desire to create a family atmosphere and a place to get to know others at Friendship Church. Monthly, we serve special treats after each of the services.
The hospitality team exists to Love, Live and Serve like Jesus because every Sunday is someone's first Sunday. We strive to wow every person who walks into Friendship Church with extraordinary hospitality.
To provide the elements for Communion.
This team comes together a few times a year to prepare, bake, cut and store the communion bread.
Serve in the Commons area and in the Worship Center to greet people with a warm smile, answer any questions they might have, and help them feel welcomed and valued here at Friendship Church.
There are a variety of places to serve at Discover. Help is needed as a greeter, registration table, running sound and media, small group helper and kids program.

If you're gifted in public speaking and enjoy being on stage, we need people to help with announcements during Sunday morning services.
If you like music, have an ear for mixing bands and vocalists, and want to serve on this team, we need you!
Ever wonder how the lyrics show up on the big screens? Our media people! Help our congregation worship by running our morning media!
We broadcast video for online services and throughout the building. This is a new, but fun, way to serve our church!

The Kitchen Ministry is one fun, but busy ministry that always has room for more enthusiastic volunteers. Friendship has a multitude of ministries and programs, many of which serve food, so if you have the gift of helps or hospitality, consider volunteering in this ministry.

The Prayer Ministry of Friendship wants to ensure that prayer is an integral part of the church because we are a community that believes in the power of prayer.
There are many people in need of prayer. By joining a prayer team, you are committing to honor confidentiality regarding the requests.
As a member of the Prayer Chain, you will receive email updates of prayer requests from your church family.
Pray for those who ask for prayer via the Connect Cards on Sunday morning. Each week you will be emailed four to six prayer requests.
Prayer Ministers serve one Sunday a month and are available after each Sunday service to pray with individuals and families.
